“Weighing In” on Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonist Utilization Management Strategies and Real-World Clinical Outcomes

Pricing: Free for Members and $30 for Non-Members

Course Description

The skyrocketing demand for high-cost glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RA) has led to concerns over drug shortages, pharmacy cost trends, and clinical benefit versus risk. While data continue to emerge for these weight loss treatments, are there approaches that health systems and payers can use to balance drug affordability and access?

This session will focus on clinical criteria recommendations, drug utilization management strategies, and real-world clinical outcomes data related to the use of GLP-1 RA in weight management.

Pharmacists who practice in managed care settings.
