An Update on IRA: What's Your Perspective?

Pricing: Free for Members and $30 for Non-Members

Course Description

President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) has fulfilled crucial Democratic pledges by enacting Medicare prescription drug price reforms and imposing caps on out-of-pocket expenses for Part D beneficiaries. While much discussion and analysis has focused on how the IRA will impact Medicare beneficiaries, Part D plans, and government spending, the impact of the legislation will extend to stakeholders across the U.S. health care industry. Within the next 18 months, the first set of negotiated prices will be announced, the Part D benefit will undergo a major redesign, and there will also be a Presidential election.

This session will provide an update on IRA implementation as well as a panel discussion with experts familiar with health plans, the life sciences industry, and health economics. Find out how plans and manufacturers are responding to the IRA shaping their strategies moving forward. Don’t miss the opportunity to get fresh insights on how the industry may change in the next several years.

Target Audience

Pharmacists who practice in managed care settings.
